Galerie XII Paris is pleased to present, from November 7 to December 20, 2025, ODYSSÉE VÉGÉTALE, a solo exhibition by Sophie Zénon. Running in parallel with her retrospective L’HUMUS DU MONDE at the Château d’Eau in Toulouse, the artist unveils at the gallery a series of new works — the fruit of her latest research into the relationships between plants and humans, explored through the prism of migration. True to her focus on materials and craftsmanship, she presents two groups of works — herbaria and landscapes — delicate and precious creations enhanced by the artist’s gesture, where the vegetal becomes a bearer of historical and political meaning. Combining natural and anthropic processes, her approach questions the notions of endemic and non-native species, climate change, and movement across territorial and political borders.
